The Marriage Act
Section 50 (1) states that a marriage solemnized between persons either of whom is under the age of fifteen years shall, subject to the provisions of this section, be void. Section 20 (1) states who may marry without the consent of others, and in which cases the consent of a parent or guardian is required.

This Act describes the required conditions to obtain a Maternity Leave and a Vacation Leave in case of pregnancy, for Public Officers. A pregnant officer with five (5) years service, or; more, may be granted half pay leave in addition to the maternity leave of twelve (12) weeks plus, the full pay vacation leave mentioned in General Order 1585, but not so that the total period away from work would exceed sixteen (16) weeks.
